The Student Relations Office helps students and promotes community by carrying out the following functions: Hearing and responding to complaints

Has NCBI fallen short of your expectations? We want to hear about it. Share your concern by emailing /student-relations or calling 910-395-5593. We will do what we can to address your concern.

Helping students with requests for late drop, withdrawal (“W” grade) and retake credit
Extenuating circumstances prevent some students from completing a course. If this happens please contact our office at 910-395-5593 to discuss your options.

Helping students who aren’t sure where to go for help
Unexpected life events can interfere with your education. When this occurs and you aren’t sure who to contact at NCBI, you can start by contacting Student Relations. We will listen, provide you with assistance, or connect you with the appropriate office at NCBI.

Information about Student Complaints
The State Authorization Unit of the University of North Carolina System Office serves as the official state entity to receive complaints concerning post-secondary institutions that are authorized to ooperate in North Carolina. If students are unable to resolve a complaint through the Institutions grievance procedures, they can review the Student Complaint Policy (PDF) and submith their complaints using the online complaint form at:

Programs of study offered by North Carolina Bible Institute have been declared by the appropriate state authority exempt from the requirement for licensure, under provisions of North Carolina General Statutes (G.S.) 116-15(d) for exemption from licensure with respect to religious education. Exemption from licensure is not based upon assessment of program quality under established licensing standards. 

Addressing concerning behaviors

If you are concerned that someone may harm themselves or others, or may be experiencing depression, anxiety or other mental health challenges, submit an email to /student-relations or call 910-395-5593. We will partner with our Deans to reach out to the individual. If you feel that you are in need of support, you can contact us directly with above information.
